In the annual Gartner U.S.
copier market report for 2006, Ricoh Americas Corporation –
consisting of Ricoh, Savin and Lanier brands – has been ranked
number one in both black & white and color overall copier
placements in the United States. Ricoh had 23.1 percent of the
market share for black & white copiers and 28.1 percent
for color, respectively. These percentages refer to dealer and
direct sales, excluding copiers sold through the retail
channel (Printer, Copier, and MFP Annual Market Share, United
States: Database. February 15, 2007).
